C5 Corvette ECBM Rebuild

    Owners of C5 Corvettes face a common with the traction/Active Handling  suddenly failing.

    In discussion with our various CCO service providers, the problem is with the ECBM module failing.

    Getting it replaced is almost impossible. The same with having it repaired.

    Good news! Corvette Depot offers this service by sending the core to them, they will then repair it.

    Cost for this service is $450.00.

    what years does this repair cover  are 97-98-99-2000 covered??????

    As I understand it, the repairs cover the modules for the C5 series only.

    By way of an update, Champion Motors offer a repair to the C5 series ECBM for approximately the same price.

    Call them for details.

    With a C5, isn't it more about "when" than "if" you'll need to address that pesky EBCM module?  It was certainly the case with mine and it only had about 25K on the ODO - ABS light was always on.  

    A number of our members might not want to remove the module themselves, and would rather take it to one of our sponsors.  

    My experience at Stingray in 2024 was excellent; handled the whole thing.  Cost was reasonable.
